Rose Garden
One of the largest city-owned rose gardens in the country is right here in Harford. There are 15,000 rose bushes here consisting of over 800 varieties of roses. A sunny afternoon spent here with your family will not be wasted. In addition to the roses, there are plenty of other activities as the rose garden is located within Elizabeth Park.
Mortensen Riverfront Plaza
If you are looking for a public space to get a great, free workout, you will love the Riverfront Plaza. While walking or jogging, you will get some great fresh air blowing in from the river. The boats moving back and forth along the water are a wonderful sight to see early in the morning or evening. And there are the plaza stairs that are great for accelerating your workout or for just sitting and relaxing.

Hockanum River Linear Park Trail
If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and spend some time around nature, you should go to the Hockanum River Linear Park Trail. There are nearly 4 miles of trails to hike. The river is beautiful and there is a lot of gorgeous, secluded scenery to enjoy.
